BBC NEWS City's CCTV coverage in £1m boost About £1m is being invested on more CCTV cameras in Nottingham.

The city council has approved the money for 19 surveillance devices across the city to try to cut crime.

Eight of the cameras will go up in Sneinton, where a police dispersal order has been in place for the past month because of anti-social behaviour.

Other camera locations will include Flamstead Road in Broxtowe, Robin Hood Chase in St Ann's and Thurland Street in the city centre.
